Just as America pats itself on the back for having outlawed slavery via Lincoln (thirty odd years after Britain…but who’s counting?), No reminds us of the USA’s more recent dirty exploits in Chile. The film stars Mexico’s sweetheart, Gael Garcia Bernal, as an advertising agent who begins a campaign to encourage a nationwide rebuttal of Pinochet’s ‘American sponsored’ dictatorship in the 1988 Chilean national plebiscite.

If you’re a deluded, peace-hatin’, commie-slappin’ Yankee…give this one a miss.
